So, I finally gave in and purchased a new computer. I purchased a Dell E1505 with Windows Vista Home Premium. It has plenty of memory, a fast hard drive, upgraded battery, 2 Duo Core 2.0 GHz processors, and an awesome display. Of course, I was very excited to get the new machine. Truthfully, I have not had that many compatibility issues yet either except one game not working correctly and Adobe Professional 6.0 not working (need newest version).
Anyway, Dell and their infinite wisdom sent me the computer with now power cord. I am on the phone with them now. Of course, I am on the phone with somebody in India. Of course, he has me on hold because he has to talk to someone else to find out the part number for a power card as this must be a very complicated matter - terds! Well, my old power is not working with the computer anymore. If they try to charge me for this stuff, I am going to get really upset. Well, I am done venting and my battery is almost dead. Laters.
